A Look Inside Pangasinan's Capitol 2012

"Lingayen, Pangasinan - There's a new touch of elegance inside the Pangasinan provincial capitol. The once drab interior of the sprawling pre-World War II structure is now a glowing display of both classical and modern art and beauty."

I saw the building for the first time April. I have a hunch that the Americans modeled it after the White House (if you look at the back view). The architecture is basically American classical, common in most buildings constructed during the American colonial period. Took some pictures of the building itself, and I was shocked at the grandeur inside. Turns out the interior was renovated last 2008. The capitol complex also has an outdoor museum dedicated to the famous landing of the American forces at Lingayen Gulf nearing the end of the Japanese occupation. Here are some pics I took last April.
